Hand Wash: For more delicate or structured caps, hand washing is preferred. Fill a basin with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Gently scrub the hat with a soft brush or cloth, paying attention to stains. Rinse thoroughly and reshape.
Spot Cleaning: Use a damp cloth or sponge with mild detergent to spot clean stains. Avoid soaking the entire hat, as this can cause distortion.
Storage:
Hat Stretcher: Use a hat stretcher or place the cap over a rounded object to maintain its shape.
Drying: Air dry the cap away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading and distortion.
Fedoras
